Locally-produced runners Heather Edic and Crystal Pitney led the Alaska Nanooks to victory in the 6Km women's West Ridge Invitational, Thursday, September 1 on UAF's West Ridge Trails.

Lathrop runners Megan Edic and Kyle Hanson were the individual winners in the 2011 Interior Invitational high school cross country race held Saturday, August 27, at Birch Hill Recreation Area, immediately following the Golden Heart Trail Run.

Maria Bray and Devin McDowell were the winners in the 4th Annual Seekins Ford-Lincoln Golden Heart Trail Run on Saturday, August 27, at Birch Hill Recreation Area.

Julia Mayer and Robert Stolzberg were the winners in the Second Annual Run For Relief 5Km, a bike-path 5Km starting and finishing at the Pioneer Park square dance building.
